Privacy & cookie policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains how we collect and use your personal information when you visit quickhomesalesscotland.co.uk, or contact us about selling your property. We’ve tried to keep it plain and clear. If anything is unclear, please email us at contact@quickhomesalesscotland.co.uk.
1. Who we are
Quick Home Sales is a trading name of Spalding Property Solutions Ltd, a property investment and renovation company registered in Scotland (company number SC739484). Our registered office is Clyde Offices, 2/3 48 West George Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, G2 1BP.
Spalding Property Solutions Ltd is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Quick Home Sales is how we find homeowners who want to sell their property directly, quickly and without listing it on the open market. Depending on the property, we either buy it ourselves or introduce it to cash buyers in our network of property sourcers and investors.
Contact for anything about your data: contact@quickhomesalesscotland.co.uk, or write to us at our registered office.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, phone number and email address.
- Your message and property details: anything you tell us in our contact form or by phone, email or WhatsApp, such as the property’s address, type, condition and when you’d like to sell.
- Your circumstances: your reason for selling (for example inheritance, separation or financial pressure), if you choose to tell us. We treat this information with particular care and only use it to help with your sale.
- Sale information: if you go ahead, information needed to complete the purchase, including identity and anti-money-laundering checks and title details.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and spam-protection data: your IP address (stored only in a scrambled, one-way “hashed” form), browser type and the time you submitted the form.
- How you found us: the advert, campaign or website that sent you to us (for example UTM tags or ad click IDs), so we know which adverts work.
- Cookies and similar technologies: only if you accept them — see Cookies.
Please don’t send us health information or other special category data. We don’t need it to make an offer.
3. How and why we use your information
Data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of your information. Ours are:
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Respond to your enquiry, assess your property and prepare a cash offer | Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; and our legitimate interests in buying property |
| Share your property and contact details with our network of property sourcers and cash investors so they can make or fund an offer | Your consent, which you give when you submit our form |
| Complete a purchase, including conveyancing | Performance of a contract |
| Identity and anti-money-laundering checks | Legal obligation (Money Laundering Regulations 2017) |
| Follow up if we haven’t been able to reach you about your enquiry | Legitimate interests (helping you with the sale you asked about) |
| Protect the website and form from spam and abuse | Legitimate interests (keeping our services secure) |
| Analytics and advertising cookies, and measuring our adverts | Your consent |
| Keep records and deal with complaints or legal claims | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
We don’t use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we don’t sell it.
4. Who we share it with
Our property sourcer and investor network
As well as buying properties ourselves, we work with a network of over 100 property sourcers and cash investors who buy homes, including buy-to-let and renovation projects. With your consent, we may share your property details and contact details with members of this network so that they can assess your property, make an offer, or fund a purchase.
Where possible, we share property details first and only share your contact details with buyers who are seriously interested. Network members who receive your information act as separate data controllers and must handle it lawfully under their own privacy notices. We ask them to use it only to consider buying your property.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@quickhomesalesscotland.co.uk. We’ll stop sharing your details and tell the network members we’ve shared them with that you’ve asked to be removed. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect sharing that took place before you withdrew it.
